Rishikesh/Haridwar Joshimath
AEarly departure from Rishikesh/Haridwar.
Transfer to Joshimath (Approx. 242kms). Overnight at Joshimath in hotel

| Day 03 |
Joshimath - Ghangaria
Departure to Govindghat (approx. 22km) and trek to Ghangaria (approx
14km ) . This is the point where the trek to the valley of Flowers
begins. We cross the river Alaknanda and a 3km trek brings one to the
small village Pulna. The next 11 km trek to Govind Dham (Ghangaria) is
for the most part along the Bhyundar Ganga. This
beautiful
part of the route has numerous waterfalls, wild flowers,
forests.
The last stretch is a steep ascent to Ghangaria . Dinner and over night
at Ghangaria in tents (3048mts).. |

Ghangaria
Trek to Valley of Flowers (altitude approx. 3658 mts) and
return
to Ghangaria for the night ( approx 10kms ).Overnight in tents.. |

Ghangaria - Rudraprayag
Trek back to Govindghat ( approx 14 kms ) and return to Rudraprayag
(approx 132kms ). Overnight in hotel. |

Rudraprayag Rishikesh/Haridwar
Return transfer to Rishikesh ( Approx. 06hrs drive).
Overnight at Rishikesh in hotel. |

Package
Cost includes:
1. Accommodation in standard hotels on twin sharing & in "2
men"
alpine tents with foam mattresses and sleeping bags as per the
itinerary.
2. Porterage for luggage from Govindghat - Ghangaria
Govindghat.(Max. one 15kg piece/person).
3. All veg meals: Entire package on bed & breakfast basis
except at Ganghria Camp. Meals at Ganghria Camp: ( buffet / fixed menu )

Important
Note:
Service Tax is applicable for all transport and
accommodation bookings. Current rate @ 4.9%
Booking
terms:
Bookings open 120 days before the trek and closes not later
than 30 days before the trek.
Bookings are accepted on a first-come first-served basis.
However rights of admission is reserved by the company.
Bookings will be accepted only on receipt of your written
confirmation order detailing the itinerary, dates and participants
along with a non-refundable booking amount of Rs. 4,000/- per person.
The balance amount should be deposited on or before 30 days
before commencement of the trek, failing which the booking will be
cancelled and the amount forfeited.
Changes to the itinerary or dates, if any, shall be allowed
within a week of the booking. No changes, alterations or amendments
will be entertained after that.
If any changes are asked for after one week, then it will be
construed as fresh bookings and the original booking amount will be
forfeited.
Kindly make 100% payment on or before the time limit to
enable
us, resorts/hotels and other vendors to hold the reservation on a
confirmed basis. This is very crucial to us as the Valley of Flowers
has a total season of only 90 days.
You can make the payment by cheque or by cash. Cheques are
to be issued in favor of Adventure India.

Account Adventure India, Dehra Dun-ICICI Bank Account NO: 016405000324.
The cancellation policies of resorts/hotels and other
service
providers during thus holiday season of May September 2007
indicate strict cancellation rules. No refunds are applicable after
confirmations on postponements, amendments or cancellations.

participation in Adventure Sports like Trekking and Camping, White
Water Rafting, Rock Climbing, Wild Life Safaris etc in the Himalayas
are by their nature likely to involve actual risk and danger to life as
a consequence of (but not limited to) the hazards of traveling in
mountainous terrain, accident or illness in remote areas (lacking
proper medical facilities), animal attacks, the forces of nature and
the like. Such serious perils may endanger your life. You are urged to
consider personal risks to your health and safety before accepting to
participate in the tour.
